Her expertise includes the Weimar Republic, Nazi and Modern Germany, and the History and Theory of Democracy. Her current book, in progress is, “Invisible Fatherland: Constitutional Patriotism and the Desire for Democracy in Weimar Germany.”

We discussed how Weimar Germany gave way to Nazi Germany, Fascism in Charlottesville, and what Germany has implemented to prevent fascism, and much more.
