Patrice Preston Grimes, Ph.D., expert on desegregation and education policy. She is Associate Dean, Office of African American Affairs, and Education professor at the University of Virginia; Lorenzo Dickerson, documentary filmmaker. His work focuses on African American issues from a historical perspective. His latest film is “Albemarle’s Black Classrooms.” Kibiriti Majuto, a student, activist, and refugee from the Democratic Republic of the Congo; Deborah Prum, award-winning author, humorist.
