Christine Mahoney, co-founder of the Alight Fund, which is empowering refugee entrepreneurs to grow small businesses in displacement-effected zones. Her new book is “Failure and Hope: Fighting for the Rights of the Forcibly Displaced.” She is Professor of Public Policy and Politics at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy and Director of the Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Virginia.

Writer Philip Jason, Second year graduate student at the University of Virginia and winner of the 2017 Henfield Prize for Fiction, one of the most prestigious individual prizes available to promising writers.
