Deirdre Enright, director of the Innocence Project Clinic at the University of Virginia School of Law. The clinic investigates wrongful convictions of inmates throughout Virginia. You also may know Deirdre from her appearances on the viral podcast, Serial.

Grace Elizabeth Hale, professor of History and American Studies at the University of Virginia. Hale focuses on U.S. cultural history, the U.S. South, documentary studies, and sound studies. She’s the author of “A Nation of Outsiders: How the White Middle-Class Fell in Love with Rebellion in Postwar America” and Making Whiteness: The Culture of Segregation in the South, 1890–1940.
