Our guests were Dr. Cameron Webb whose research focuses at the intersection of health and social justice and Hannah Barnaby, award-winning writer of young adult and children’s books. 

DETAILS:

Dr. Cameron Webb is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Webb was awarded a prestigious White House Fellowship where he worked on policies to improve lives of black boys and men. We got a glimpse into his unique perspective at the intersection of health and social justice and how it informs his leadership in the health equity movement.

Hannah Barnaby is an author of Young Adult & Children’s books. She was the first children’s writer-in-residence at the Boston Public Library. She’s a former editor and was a Morris Award finalist for her debut novel, Wonder Show. She lives and teaches picture book and writing workshops in Charlottesville.
